Name of hotel, resort, or cruise ship
  Secrets Maroma Beach
One a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your trip
What was your favorite thing about the trip?
It was relaxing in a gorgeous environment. Getting couples massages at the spa was the best! Definitely the best spa we have ever been to!
Were there any service issues we should be aware of?
As far as service at the resort, they try to talk you into going on a “tour” of the resort and play it off as it’s just something they like to do so we can go home and tel our friends and family about it. Like it’s part of their marketing. However, they push and push and push you to buy a hotel package – for 70,000 dollars!!! It was crazy how much they pushed and we were extremely annoyed it took 2 hours and thought it was rude how they didn’t take No for an answer. We did get $200 off a spa service for it though.
Which of our consultants did you work with?
On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the service you received from your consultant?
Would you recommend our services to others?
Reason for your response
Bernie was very quick to respond to all of our questions and worked hard to find us the perfect destination for our honeymoon.

Michael & Kathryn El Dorado Casitas Royale

The resort was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. The staff was extremely pleasant and for the most part, were genuinely there to cater to us. We met great people and the weather was perfect every single day. Since it was the beginning of September, this is something I had been worried about, but it was really warm and sunny for the duration of our trip. We travelled first class and had our own private Navigator from the airport to the resort, and back. I would highly recommend this if you can swing it as honeymooners. It added a level of class and organization to the trip. We ordered an excursion ahea of time, and I wish we hadn’t done that, because we ended up skipping it, and going deep see fishing instead with another couple we met. There are plenty of people on the resort that will offer you excursions if you would like them, and waiting until you get there provides you with a level of flexibility that is nice. That being said, the deep see fishing was awesome. After we were finished, we had them grill it at the restaurant right on the beach and this was one of my top 5 meals of all time. The candlelight dinner was awesome…upgrade to the lobster. The Eldorado Casitas Royale is private, relaxed, and absoultely lovely.

Bernie did a great job of booking our reservation and helping us find a wonderful honeymoon destination. She was very helpful and I have already recommended her to our other engaged friends!
