Places I’ve Traveled:

U.S. destinations include New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Miami, Las Vegas, the California coastline, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, St. John, and St. Thomas and more.

International destinations include Europe (Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Hungary, and the Greek Island), as well as Costa Rica, Mexico (Cancun, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas)  and the Caribbean (St. Lucia, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic)

Favorite Honeymoon Destination:

If you have 10 or more days, I suggest Europe. With less time, I love the convenience of Mexico and the Caribbean islands, especially St. Lucia.

Most interesting or unique trip I’ve worked on:

It would have to be my own honeymoon. With two weeks in Europe, we were able to spend a couple of nights in the Netherlands, make multiple stops in Germany, and hop on a short flight to the incredibly romantic Greek Islands. It was the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. I would do it all over again and not change a thing!

Best Travel Tip:

Use a Travel Consultant who has personally been to your dream honeymoon destination. Trying to choose a resort and book reputable tours on your own is like trying to take a drink from a fire hydrant. A Travel Consultant can offer you expert advice on all things related to your trip, from what to wear to where to eat! You’ll return from your trip with ZERO regrets.

If I had $10,000 to travel anywhere in the world:

It’s so difficult to narrow it down to just one location; but if I had money to spare, I would definitely take my friends and family with me! There is nothing better than seeing your loved ones happy and enjoying the moment with you. This is just one of the reasons I love destination weddings and wedding-moons. My family and friends joined us in Germany for a portion of our honeymoon and we had the time of our lives together.

Bliss-ism:

Travel is the only thing you will spend your money on that actually makes you richer.  A unique and well planned travel experience brings people together, makes you who you are, and brings more long term happiness than any material item.  Sorry if I sound “preachy”, but my husband and I still love to reminisce about the sights, people and food we experienced on our honeymoon…but don’t ask me who gave us what off our registry!
