24 Sep El Dorado Seaside Suites Review
A few weeks ago, I finally had a chance to get away to experience a new resort first hand. So I headed south of the border to El Dorado Seaside Suites.
El Dorado Seaside Suites is a beachfront, adult-only, all-inclusive resort, located a little over an hour away from the Cancun airport. While I had toured Seaside several times, this was my first time actually staying at the resort. It did not disappoint. Here are some of the highlights.
1. The Rooms
Our infinity pool suite was clean, comfortable, and huge! Each night there was a new, carefully crafted chocolate treat left for us at turndown. The bathroom was the size of my living room. The beds were comfortable, and they offer several different pillows to choose from.
2. The Spa
There are two spas at Seaside. We went twice during our stay. Everything about the spa was fantastic!
3. The Food
I ate my way through El Dorado Seaside Suites. If you are a foodie, you will love this place. Everything was fantastic! We had breakfast at Seaside Market each morning and the service was impressive.
We tried each of their restaurants for dinner at some point during our stay. Mia Casa Italian was amazing. La Carreta, the Mexican restaurant was delicious, and not the least bit judgy when we ordered tequila shots for an appetizer. (And dessert. And as a side dish.)
But much to our surprise, the Culinarium turned out to be our favorite! We stopped in for appetizers while waiting for a table to open up at La Carreta. Based on the rather basic decor we had low expectations, but were completely blown away by both the food and the service. We ended up eating there 3 times during our 4-night stay. (And I developed an obsession for their sweet potato soup with coconut essence!)
4. The Entertainment
There was something going on every night at Seaside. When you go, you definitely won’t run out of things to do!
My Final Thoughts on El Dorado Seaside Suites
El Dorado Seaside Suites is affordable and well worth the drive from the airport. If you’re looking for a great destination whether it’s for a honeymoon, anniversary, or just a fun getaway, it’s a fantastic option.
